PacketExpert™ 100G is a next-generation solution for testing wire-speed Ethernet and IP networks, supporting rates from 1 Gbps up to 100 Gbps (1G, 10G, 25G, 40G, 50G, and 100G). It offers advanced applications including Bit Error Rate Testing (BERT), Smart Loopback, RFC 2544 Testing, ExpertSAM™ (ITU-T Y.1564 Testing), and Multi-Stream Traffic Generator and Analyzer (MTGA), making it ideal for service validation, performance benchmarking, and troubleshooting.
PacketExpert™ 100G also supports flexible multi-port configurations using MTP-to-LC breakout cables, with the option to integrate multiple SmartNIC cards for higher port density. With 40G QSFP transceivers, each port can be split into four 10G channels, delivering 8 × 10G per card and up to 56 × 10G ports in a 4U chassis. With 100G QSFP transceivers, each port can be split into four 25G channels, providing 4 × 25G per card and up to 28 × 25G ports in a 4U chassis.
The system features a web-based user interface for easy access via any standard browser, with convenient multi-user control from PCs, laptops, and tablets. It is available in rack-mount and portable configurations and is equipped with specialized network interface cards, large RAM and storage, optimized processing with advanced cooling, and high-performance packet capture capability.
